    TreeProfessionals.com provides general tree-care information, storm resources, a directory of tree-care companies, and forms that help homeowners contact professionals. Directory inclusion, credentials, maps, storm information, and company details may come from third-party or public sources and are not guarantees or endorsements.

    3. No professional advice or guarantee

    Content is general information, not arboricultural, legal, insurance, engineering, emergency, or financial advice. Tree work can be dangerous. Contact emergency services or your utility for immediate hazards, and independently verify a professional’s licensing, insurance, experience, and suitability before hiring.

    4. Requests and professional relationships

    Submitting a quote or listing form does not guarantee a response, price, match, or outcome. Any agreement for services is solely between you and the professional. TreeProfessionals.com is not a party to that agreement and is not responsible for work performed, estimates, disputes, property damage, or injuries.

    5. Acceptable use

    You may not misuse the site, submit false or unlawful information, interfere with its operation, scrape or reproduce substantial portions without permission, impersonate another person, or use the site to violate another person’s rights.

    6. Intellectual property

    The site’s original text, design, branding, software, and organization are owned by or licensed to TreeProfessionals.com. You may use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes but may not republish or commercially exploit it without written permission.

    7. Availability and third-party services

    The site may change, become unavailable, or contain links and embedded services operated by others. We do not control third-party services and their own terms and policies apply.

    8. Disclaimer and limitation

    The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties to the extent permitted by law.     1. Who we are

    TreeProfessionals.com operates from Malta. For privacy questions or requests, email support@treeprofessionals.com.

    2. Information we collect

    We collect information you submit through quote, professional-listing, and contact forms, such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, company information, and details about the work requested. We also receive technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, and basic server logs.

    3. How we use information

    We use information to operate and secure the site, respond to requests, route quote enquiries to relevant tree-care professionals, manage directory submissions, understand site usage, prevent abuse, comply with law, and improve our content and services.

    4. Legal bases

    Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process information to perform requested services, based on your consent where required, for our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site, and to comply with legal obligations.

    5. When information is disclosed

    Quote details may be shared with tree-care professionals so they can respond to your request. Service providers may process information for hosting, infrastructure, analytics, maps, security, and site operations. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

    6. Services used by the site

    • Google Analytics: measures visits and site usage. Google may receive device, browser, page, and approximate-location data.
    • Google Maps: displays maps and locations. Google may receive device, IP, and map-interaction data.
    • Replit: provides hosting and application infrastructure and may process technical requests and server logs.
    • Browser storage: the helpfulness widget may store your choice locally in your browser; lead-confirmation reporting uses temporary session storage.

    7. Retention and security

    We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

    8. Your rights

    Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner or your local supervisory authority. Email requests to support@treeprofessionals.com; we may need to verify your identity.

    9. International transfers, children, and changes

    Providers may process data outside Malta or the EEA using legally recognized safeguards where required. The site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. We may update this policy by posting a revised effective date.

    TreeProfessionals.com does not sell personal information for money and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising.

    Service-provider disclosures are different

    We may disclose information to providers that help operate the site, and we may forward a quote request to relevant tree-care professionals so they can respond. These operational disclosures are described in the Privacy Policy and are not sales or targeted-advertising sharing.

    Make a privacy request

    You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to certain processing, or ask us to confirm our sale and sharing practices. Email support@treeprofessionals.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

    We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
